Signs of a bad employer you should not ignore

Vague role expectations
If nobody in the interview can give you a straight answer about what your daily tasks are or who makes the decisions, thatâs a huge warning sign. If itâs chaotic now, imagine what itâs like working there.
A chaotic hiring process
Are they constantly rescheduling interviews with no apology? Is HR saying one thing while the manager says another? Thatâs exactly how they run their business. How they treat you as a candidate is how theyâll treat you as an employee.
Resistance to transparency
If you ask about salary, why the last person left, or working hours, and they get defensive or dodge the questionârun. A decent employer might not be perfect, but they wonât hide the truth from you.
